The rapid growth of Online Shopping is causing record levels of plastic and paper pollution, most of which is going unnoticed. Made of PBAT and modified corn starch. They generate less CO2 than traditional plastic. To attain these certifications, our mailers must break down within 90 days in commercial compost and 180 days in domestic compost conditions, including worm farm compost. After breaking down, they must leave no harmful residues behind.

When compared to traditional poly mailers, we believe that our 100% Compostable mailers perform even better! They don’t break at the bottom when put under heavy weight, and are equally as waterproof. Additionally, they are tear-resistant by stretching to distribute the weight over the whole bag, rather than in just one section. They are writable, stickable, flexible, and lightweight. They also have two seals, so they can be used to ship goods twice rather than just once!

A biodegradable product simply means that at some point in the future, the product will decompose. The issue? No time period is specified. This means that traditional plastic mailers can be labeled as “biodegradable” even if it takes 400,000 years to decompose! 100% Compostable mailer will completely decompose in 90-180 days, leaving no harmful residues behind.
